8-10-20   THOUGHTS

I want to share a list of Fundamentals that I used in yesterday’s sermon.  It’s one thing to hear them read, another to put your eyes on them.  This is from several lists I’ve seen over the years with some modifications and additions of my own.  We might think most of them are too obvious to even write down. When I read through it, I find my perspective on things broadens.  I begin to think bigger instead of smaller.  I believe this is good for me.
I’m not going to please God by pleasing myself.
Pleasing others isn’t the same as pleasing God.
Just because it is urgent, doesn’t mean it’s important.
Good deeds don’t merit salvation.
Grace is necessary
Grace isn’t cheap.
Being busy isn’t the same as bearing fruit.
You won’t bear fruit if you aren’t busy.
Love is an action.
Love is a choice.
Love never fails.
Time is temporary...
Living implies dying.
One must die in order to live.
Everyone has bad days..no one has to have a bad eternity!
Satan always lies.
God cannot lie.
I can choose to win.
I can choose to lose.
God wants me to win
God wants to bless me

Go and live an ALIVE Monday.  Choose LOVE and CHOOSE to WIN!
Eph 3:16   that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man,
Eph 6:10   Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
Col 1:11   strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously
Php 4:13    I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

My Prayer:
Father of heaven and earth, fix our minds on Jesus and your great grace in him.  Teach us to die to self, take away our selfish nature.  May we see that people are important and not things.  Help us  love each other fervently with a pure heart.  Help us learn that we are more blessed when we give than when we receive.                         In Jesus blessed name                 Amen
